Traditionally, in-wall speakers have open backs (or flimsy plastic backs at best), with the result that each speaker in a multi-channel installation will sound different to each other due to their placement in the walls. James ensures this does not happen by sealing their speakers with hand welded, 6mm aircraft grade solid aluminium. This ensures that each model has precisely the same enclosure volume, which results in a seamless timbre match throughout.

How do they sound? In a word, glorious!

James in-wall and on-wall speakers put many traditional high end box speakers to shame. Each speaker can be 'tuned' precisely for its location using James patented Adjustable Frequency Distribution Circuit (AFDC). This is the World's first and only continuously variable speaker output frequency equalizer. Because room acoustics account for more than 50% of what we hear, we believe one-size-fits-all speaker design belongs firmly in the stone age. While electronic EQ, via a surround processor or AV amp, has its place in the audio world, James method deals with acoustic problems at the ideal point in the chain, the speaker itself.
